Additional Information:  Direct from the 2011 blade show comes this beautiful folding hunter from well known maker Jerry Halfrich.  This beautiful piece features fluted 416 stainless bolsters and hand finished CPM-154 stainless steel.  The knife has great natural micarta scales with beautiful grain.  This is some of the best handle material for the field available.. Jerry also built the handle with a beautiful oval shield as well.  The blade shape is a beautifully formed clip point, and has a razor sharp edge.  The size, shape and weight of this lovely piece would make it a great using knife and everyday carry.  The blade falls nicely in the handle right in the center of the liners as well.  This piece would fit very nicely in any pocket and is big enough to be useful but not too big.  This piece also features a thin profile for easy carry as well . With regard to workmanship, the backspring and blade spine are nicely flushed when the blade has been deployed.  This piece also features a great half stop, stainless pins, easy blade deployment with nice snap as well.  What a great knife from a talented maker with great materials.  What else could you ask for.
