This beautiful folder features presentation quality gold lip pearl with incredible overtones of green, red, yellow and purple. This pearl matches the beautiful colors produced by the nitre bluing process performed on both the blade and bolster's damsacus steel. The hot bluing process also produces some fabulous hues of reds, blues and bronze on the beautiful steel backspacer which is further contrasted by a nice piece of inlaid gold lip pearl. This piece is a striking combination of beauty and quality by this very talented young mastersmith. Keep your eye's open for Jason's work. It is definitely noteworthy. |
