This striking piece features beautiful presentation grade ironwood scales, ATS-34 blades and hardware; 416 stainless bolsters and integral toggle for easy opening. The blade action of this piece is just terrific as are the grinds, seamless construction, and every other aspect of fit and finish. The locking mechanism is a liner lock with vault tight lockup. That is no surprise... This very rare and beautiful piece would make a beautiful addition to any gents pocket knife collection and is available immediately at a very reasonable price. |

As one of the founding members of the Knifemakers Guild, Mr. Pugh is all about old world handmade craftsmanship. This is quite evident in this lovely example of his unique and extraordinary work. The beautiful handle has wonderful grain throughout. While the cast bust of a beautiful mako shark is both realistic and well finished. The shape, weight and "feel in the hand" of this piece is just what it should be.. It comes with a nice cowhide sheath made by the maker as well.. What a wonderful example of knifemaking history. It also includes the original box shipped to the client when this knife was made. A very rare find indeed from a talented maker and a terrific price as well. |
