This knife pattern represents the classic swayback jack pattern that Tony is famous for, with a wharncliffe blade. Wow, what a wonderful piece!!!!! The materials provided in this terrific folder are as desirable as one could hope for. Tony utilized beautiful handmade evergreen jigged bone scales by noted knfiemaker Shigeru Tozaki from Japan with wonderful dark and rich hues. He polished the scales to perfection. This piece is the only knife of its kind that we are aware of with this wonderful jigged bone.. That makes this piece very rare indeed. This steel has a great reputation for extreme toughness and edge holding ability. Hence you need not worry about using this razor sharp piece for what it is intended for, cutting!!! The 416 stainless bolsters are rounded, fluted, and expertly polished by hand in the true tradition of Tony Bose. To finish off this lovely work, Tony included a beautiful bullock shield, also crafted in 416 stainless, and expertly inlaid it in the jigged bone handle. As you would expect, fit, finish, blade center, and blade edge are all finished to perfection as well.
